Pope Pius XII of the Catholic Church gave Our Lady of Guadalupe the title of “Empress of the Americas” in 1945. “December 12 is the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, she reigns over our nation from Heaven, protecting and guiding us with motherly solicitude and tenderness.”
